The WORX 20V Axis combines a cordless reciprocating saw and jig saw, and powers them with a 20V MaxLithium battery to tackle most do-it-yourself projects without the expense of two separate tools. At just 4.2 lbs, the Axis is a compact, lightweight and easy-to-use multi-purpose saw for cutting wood, metal, ceramic tile, plastic, tree limbs and more. The 20V Axis uses standard reciprocating and jig saw blades, allowing you to choose from a variety of blades to cut wood, PVC pipe, plastic, fiberglass, ceramic tile, aluminum, copper, thin steel and even tree limbs and roots. This multi-purpose saw is great for making quick cuts both indoors and out, including rough-in work, moulding and drywall cuts, craft projects, plumbing and HVAC applications and electrical work. The 20V Axis features a built-in blower to remove dust and debris, increasing your cutting visibility. Additionally, this combination reciprocating saw and jig saw's motor is located on the side of the tool's body, allowing the motor and gearing to rotate simultaneously. This eliminates the possibility of slippage or misalignment, resulting in a smooth, constant transfer of power for a more efficient cut.
