    Description

    You are bidding on a completed handcrafted  rag quilt throw with coordinating fabric to look like a slice of watermelon surrounded by an all over sllices with black and white striped background and the back is turquoise green flannel with slices of watermelon and seeds all over. See close up pictures for designs.  The front is a cotton material and the back is cotton snuggle flannel
    .  The size is 39"wide X 48"length.
    There are 20 blocks in this quilt.
    I have used warm and natural cotton batting in the middle, and flannel on the back for added warmth.  I have sewn a square around the slice on each block so when they are washed the batting won't shift.
    I make all my rag quilts with cotton batting in the middle (not flannel) for added warmth and each seam (bloom) is hand snipped (not machine cut). This is a very labor involved process, but if I am going to do them I want good quality.
