    VINTAGE
    BLUE
    TLAQUEPAQUE TONALA MEXICO POTTERY
    BIRD  OF
    PARADISE
    HAND THROWN GRABBER
    VASE
    11" TALL
My understanding is that the numbers on the bottom indicate that it is #10 out of 198 made in this color and pattern. I've posted pictures of all 4 sides, top and bottom, and flaws.
This vase has been in my family for over 60 years after my great-grandmother got it on a trip to Mexico. She had it sitting on the living room floor with reeds in it as long as I can remember. Upon her death, it was gifted to me. I always admired it immensely, but as I now must downsize, I realize I no longer
    have room for it
    .
It's a beautiful bright blue with gorgeous multi-color bird of paradise surrounded by floral decorations. Some of the pictures make it look like it's sitting crooked, but that is just due to my haste in taking pictures. It does wobble a little when it's sitting, but does sit flat and is as straight up and down as a hand thrown vase can be.
I have shown you pictures of the most obvious flaws: a couple of paint flakes (one on the birds head and one on the rim, and a big chip on the rim. There of course are some scratches on other parts of the vase and misplace paint spatters, but overall this vase is in amazing condition for its age. I have found no cracks or breaks other than the chip on the rim.
It measures 11" tall and about 10" across at the widest part of the vase.
I cannot combine shipping for any other items with this.
    I DO NOT
    ship outside the continental USA.
Payment is expected at time of purchase and item(s) will be shipped when payment has cleared processing. eBay is processing payments themselves now - not PayPal, and they are slower than PayPal. Please be patient.
    I DO NOT accept returns
, so please read description thoroughly and ask questions before you buy. I describe my items very well and take good pictures. I package my items for shipping in the safest possible way based on what the item is.
Handling cost will be added to the purchase price and includes an estimated insurance cost plus packaging materials.
Since this vase is such old and fragile pottery, I will use plenty of padding to make sure it reaches buyer in condition as described in ad.
    Disclaimer:
I attempt to describe my listings with a reasonable degree of detail, accuracy, honesty and integrity. I often do research, but am not an expert at anything. What is pictured is exactly what you will get unless otherwise described in the listing.
I examine all items & will describe any defects I may find; but by the very nature of pre-owned & vintage items, there may be small defects that I have missed.
Shipping is either free or at the lowest possible cost to you. If a lot of packaging material is needed to safely ship, I add a minimal handling fee. If you think shipping is too much, then I respectfully ask you to not bid as I only charge enough to offset the cost to me.
Please note, all item(s)  are offered "AS IS", "AS FOUND” “AS DESCRIBED".
