Vintage George Wostenholm & Son's IXL Sheffield Straight Razor. The blade measures 5/8, original non-restored condition, has NOT been honed and stropped to shave ready. A beautiful example with the patina and bright hone wear contrasting on the blade surface. Comes in original box.
All vintage blades from my collection may include blemishes such as minor scratches, freckles or pitting on blade surface, various amounts of wear, but nothing that will affect the blades ability to be honed and stropped to shave ready (unless I've noted specific defects above). All blades sold from my collection in non-restored, non-honed condition will require honing services to make shave ready, some blades requiring no more than a light honing session and others requiring minor edge correction, bevel setting and full honing session.
