Vintage Russell Jennings Original Paper Wrapped Brace Auger Bits in Original Box

Description

Up for auctionare are (7) Vintage Russell Jennings Original Paper Wrapped Brace Auger Bits in the Original Box. The paper wrapping appears to never been removed on all bits, however the exposed metal does show minor surface rust. Experience tells me that this type of rusting is easily buffed off , especially on the higher quality bits of which Jennings certainly is. All bits are marked Russell Jennings, however markings on the contents differ. According to the label the original box  contained (6) 11/16"  No 100 bits but this box holds:
(2) No 100 11/16" on the shaft
(2) L101E 11/16" on the shaft
(2) No 100 13/16" on the shaft
(1) No 100 (#) 8 on the shank
The box and markings are in good condition - all markings are legible - the lid and bottom are intact but show wear.
