Description
Up for sale here is this set of three transformers--one power transformer and two output transformers. These came from a Columbia Model 570 tube stereo reel-to-reel from 1957. It ran a pair of EL84/6BQ5 output tubes (one for each channel), and used a 5V4 rectifier and a pair of 12AX7 driver tubes, as well as a 12AU7 and a 6C4. No tubes are included here, just the transformers. The output transformers are both marked TR-133 798732. "798" means they were made by the Supreme Transformer Corporation, and "732" means they were made the 32nd week of 1957. These are pretty big output transformers. I measured them with a multimeter and they measured about 340-350 ohms across one set of terminals and about .5-1 ohms across the other set. The power transformer is marked TR-121 798-709, which means it was made the 9th week of 1957 by by the Supreme Transformer Corporation. These are in good condition and are tested and guaranteed to work. They do have light wear overall. The output transformers were used to drive a single EL84 each, but you may be able to use them with push-pull EL84s, or with other output tubes--I do not know for sure. These are nice-sized outputs and will sound amazing. I do not have any specs on these other than what is listed here, sorry. Please see my pictures for details.US shipping and handling is . I accept Paypal. If you have any questions, please ask.
I have a number of other transformers, collectibles, and vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
