The article was published in the Enquirer the next month.
Juli is on the left and I on on the right. This was taken a month or so after she arrived in Italy.
trophies and prizes she had accumulated.
My favorite painting Paolo did of Juli on the boat reading. Always reading. I still have the original.
Juli and I traveled to Spain one year.
Juli is on the right in the photo below. This was the last time we were together in her home shortly before she passed away.
An update. One of my eBay customers who is Italian flew from the States to Venice just to see Juli's house and this is the email I received from him.
    "
Anneke, I 'm right now at the Tintoretto House - it is simply extra beautiful
I had the opportunity to talk with a lady living the next door on the right ,she came out just the moment I was standing there,  and she showed me the mezanine where Juli lived. The lady  could tell me her name, as she remembers Juli  very well . The flat went under deep renovation , according what she said, and now the Consul of Italy in India lives there ( he must not stay at home much often) . Also the old guy that sells glass art next door remembers Juli , as she introduced to him some customers from US .  Mr Lino said that Juli's husband , his nickname was 'el barba' - the bearded guy - moved into its ship at Giudecca , and it was a long time he was not seen around . You see , as soon as you are remembered , you are still among us - Thank you , Renato"
