This colorful talavera pottery piece from Mexico is a donkey planter but
it has an issue that has been repaired
. One ear had a clean break, which has been re-attached with a hardening ceramic epoxy and touched up with a little darker ceramic enamel paint and sealer (
see last 3 photos
) Because of this repair, I have greatly discounted it from 5 to . It is too pretty to throw out due to the repair as your flower leaves will mostly likely cover the repair, or it could also be recycled for a lot of mosaic pieces. It measures 10" tall by 18 x 12".
