Satin Border, Pocket, 3D Sunset, Friendship Inlay Oversized Queen Quilt EyeCandy

Description

I used Robert Kaufman Artisan Batiks to create a bargello landscape in Bright Royal Rainbow colors.  I used extra layers for the trepunto work to highlight the celtic forever friendship design and to make the sunset pop.The borders are a mix of applique and patchwork design. I added a hidden pocket for fun and used satin edging to bring softness.  Tie dyed backing is super soft jersey knit cotton (tshirt material). Thread painted Monogram letters (DS) and flowers dedicate this quilt to Grandma. Generous Queen Size Quilt is fully topstitched in ruby red cotton threads and has a double thickness of soft cotton batting for loft and weight. This is a soft to the touch heavy winter quilt made to be washed at home.
