    Description

    The quilt top is 100% cotton and flannel. The back is a soft black flannel. The middle has a soft red flannel.
    The squares are sewn with the traditional "X". The quilt is 10 blocks by 12 blocks finishing approximately 62" X 74". The quilt blocks are cut 8 1/2" and after sewing the blocks and washing the quilt the blocks measure 6" to 6 1/2". The seam intersections are all triple stitched. The outside of the edge of the quilt is sewn around two times, all this is to make the quilt more durable. The more you wash this flannel the softer it will get. The quilt has been washed and dried once to start the ragging process. This is a easy care quilt. It can be just thrown in the washer and dryer.
    I have been making quilts for over 30 years to use in my license home childcare. They are made very well and will withstand lots of washing and are meant to be loved and played with.
