    Description

    The squares are sewn with the traditional "X". The quilt is 5 blocks by 5 blocks finishing approximately 32" X 32". The top is made with John Deere flannel fabric. Then there is one layer of dark green soft flannel in the middle and the back layer is a pink soft flannel fabric.
    The quilt blocks are cut 8 1/2 inchs and after sewing the blocks and washing the blocks they measure around 6" to 6 1/2". The seam intersections are all tripled stitched. The outside is stitched around two times, all this is to make the quilt more durable. The more you wash this flannel the softer it will get. The quilt has been washed and dried once to start the ragging process. This is an easy care quilt it can just be thrown in the washer and dryer when needed and it will come out just beautiful.
    I have been making quilts for over 30 years to use in my license home childcare. My quilts are made very well to withstand lots of washing and are meant to be loved and played with.
