Quilt handmade Lap/Sofa/Child's/bed topper 41x47" patriotic veteran military

Description

This lap, sofa quilt consists of  hearts of a variety of patriotic fabrics raw- edge appliqued to light fabrics which are 6" square.  It is machine pieced and quilted on my sewing machine - not a quilting machine. The quilting was done with white thread using shadow quilting stitches along the seams and around each heart. There is a heart pattern stitched along the border .
The backing is a blue print with a 16 block star imbedded and the batting is low loft bonded poly.   When needed, machine wash, cold water, gentle cycle and machine dry on low or air dry.
A beautiful addition to your own home, and a welcome gift for any occasion.
