New Ohmite Model N Rheostat Variable Resistor p/n RNS1R0. We found this unique item in an inventory we recently purchased. From what we can tell this has never been installed or put to use. These rheostats are designed and manufactured to operate smoothly and reliably over long periods of use. Used for motor speed controls, light dimmers and for equipment requiring convenient variable resistance settings. Windings are linear taper on stock models. Ceramic body, high-grade resistance alloy windings, vitreous enamel coating (some models silicone-ceramic), metal spring contact arm, metal graphite composition and solder coated terminals.
