The Figure is made from a flawless deep green translucent Jade stone from Guatemala.
Absolutely highest mesoamerican Jade Quality - this is a Gem and a Work of art alike
It sows a very classic "La Venta"- style "Olmec Baby Face
Jade Figure..  More Olmec is impossible.
The figure is sitting with the legs crossed, looks a bit like the pose of the famous basalt stone Olmec Wrestler figure from theLa Venta Archaeological Site.
This Face Pendant is just perfect, up to the conical pre- columbian style drillings of the pendant holes.
It could easily pass as a 1500 year old original.
Measures ca 6 x 5 cm
Has a perforation, so it can be worn as a pendant.
