This listing is for a custom MADE-TO-ORDER handmade quilt in my MIDNIGHT RAINBOW design.
Typical turnaround is 4 weeks for production and shipping of the quilt.  Please contact me for current lead times.
The MIDNIGHT RAINBOW design features stunning rainbow color in a dramatic, original design. I cut strips of the ombre fabrics (Gelato collection from Maywood Studios) in varying widths and lengths, then arrange the strips in an abstract, asymmetrical layout.  The ombre fabrics provide splendid optical effects when placed side by side with the values running from pale to saturated along the length of the strips. Solid black makes a dramatic background for this collection of rainbow hues.  Additional bars of rainbow color run along the edges.  The bold, almost fluorescent quality of some of these fabrics gives the illusion of a glowing rainbow against the solid black.  Another cool feature of this design is how different it looks when rotated 90 degrees. You can decide how you want to display it on your bed or sofa.
You can choose from five sizes:
Throw:  60 by 60 inches
Twin:    65 by 85 inches
Full:       75 by 92 inches
Queen: 90 by 95 inches
King:     100 by 100 inches

The reverse side of the quilt can be either a solid color of your choice or an abstract, improv composition made with the same colors as the front.
Unbleached cotton batting.  Machine stitched parallel line quilting.  Machine stitched binding.
Easy care: Machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer.
For shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, US Protectorates or Canada: if the estimated charge is more than actual shipping cost I will provide a refund. For shipping to Canada, I use FedEx Ground and buyer will need to pay for any duties/taxes (GST, etc.) and custom/brokerage fees in addition to what's billed for shipping.
