Included in this lot are the following two antique or vintage straight razors manufactured by
Wester & Butz in Germany:
(1) The first razor is marked
Wester Bros. / Solingen Germany
and
34 De
┌ Fi / Reg U.S. Pat. Off.
with an anchor logo.
It has a ⁹⁄₁₆-inch blade just shy of 6 inches long, measures approximately 9 inches in overall length and weighs about
0.9 oz. It is in very good used condition
with some discolored areas on the blade (see photos)
; and
(2) The second one is marked
Wester Bros / Anchor Brand / Made in Germany
and
Wester Bros / “Manganese Steel”
. It has a ⅝-inch blade about

inches long, measures a
pproximately
9-
⁷⁄₁₆ inches long overall and weighs about
1.1 oz. It is in fair used condition with some
discolored areas on the blade and tang and some
pitting on the tang and spine (see photos).
Each razor is individually boxed and will be shipped together in a single package. These razors have not been tested and may not be shave-ready.
