    This is a really lovely
    Large size Vase / Pot covered with different size fish.
    This piece is all
    handmade, hand painted and Burnished
    in the pottery tradition called
    Barro
    bruñido
    by
    Daniel Aguilar Benitez
    .
    Daniel is a
    master potter
    and belongs to an
    august group of potters who call them selves
    Grupo Herencia Milenaria
    .  They have a
    lovely
    museum on the outskirts of Tonala and are
    devoted to the
    conservation and promotion their ancestral tradition Tonaltecan Ceramic craft.
    It is signed on the front on the bottom right hand corner by Daniel.
    It measures approximately: 11 inches tall & 8 1/4 inches wide.
    This Vase is a wonderful example of
    Mexican Folk art and Ceramic traditions
    from this area of Mexico.
