    Description

    The squares are sewn with the traditional "X". The quilt is 5 blocks by 5 blocks finishing approximately 32" X 32". The top is made with Jungle fabric and minky. Then there is one layer of light green solid of soft flannel in the middle and the back layer of yellow solid soft flannel fabric. Minky is so soft I just love sewing with it and to have a quilt made with it is just so wonderful. I just want to cuddle up with it when I am sewing. It is just a treat to work with. Any child would love this quilt. It is just the right size to cuddle up with and grow with your child.
    The quilt blocks are cut 8 1/2 inch and after sewing the blocks and washing the blocks they measure around 6" to 6 1/2". The seam intersections are all tripled stitched. The outside is stitched around two times, all this is to make the quilt more durable. The more you wash this flannel the softer it will get. The quilt has been washed and dried once to start the ragging process. This is an easy care quilt it can just be thrown in the washer and dryer when needed and it will come out beautiful.
    I have been making quilts for over 30 years to use in my license home childcare. My quilts are made very well to withstand lots of washing and are meant to be loved and played with.
