    Description

This one of a kind lamp measures about 5" across the widest part of its hand painted base and over 8" tall, with the lamp shade. Meticulously hand painted enamel shines on the surface of the piece in shades of blue, green, orange and white. The lamp is turned on with an easy button switch on the power cord and uses a small 40watt bulb (included). The included lamp shade is white with silver threads shot throughout. This piece was made as a lamp; it is NOT a vase that's been converted.
Since 1981, Javier Servin has been producing beautiful artisan ceramics and pottery in a labor intensive (and quite interesting!) 10 step process that starts with mining local materials and ends with an 8 hour bake in a 1280C oven that leaves the iconic combination of matte ceramic and glossy and vivid enamel.
