I AM SELLING THIS FOR MY ELDERLY FRIEND as a courtesy to her. Price includes any/all fees - there are no added fees, on your eBay invoice, for shipping.
Handmade One-Of-A-Kind Quilt Bedspread. PRISTINE, BRAND NEW, ABSOLUTELY NEVER USED. This is a "pieced fabric" quilt painstakingly all hand cut, hand-pieced.
Fits:  Full ("Double") bed of STANDARD size.
Quilt size:  73" x 81" (standard full size quilt). My friend had this custom made for her antique double bed. She forgot to tell the woman making the quilt that she has an EXTRA DEEP "HIGH END" 16" mattress - most mattresses are 8" - 12" "deep" . It is very obvious quilt is too small for her "EXTRA DEEP" 16" mattress. Please see photos. Please study measurements to make sure this is the size quilt you need/want.
The quilt is gorgeous, beautifully and meticulously handmade, very charming and the "colonial red and creamy white" colors match perfectly with her antique canope top and sheets and pillow shams. But.....it is too small for her 16" extremely deep mattress and looks "awkward". If you have a normal mattress 8" - 12" deep this will be perfect for you.
* This is "colonial red" (aka "dark red"). This is not bright lipstick red, not burgundy red, not brick red. Also it is "cream" white (aka "antique" white), not bright snow white.
The lady who made this quilt gave the following information for you: "Fully hand-quilted on an old fashioned hoop. High loft fill and warm for winter months". The woman who made this quilt has a NO RETURNS/NO REFUNDS POLICY so my friend cannot return it for ANY reason. What a shame my friend is not able to use this wonderful quilt due to her extremely deep 16" mattress.
BRAND NEW. JUST COMPLETED. ABSOLUTELY NEVER USED (only displayed for photos for this eBay listing).
Please note: the quilt has been folded in half (length-wise) to make photographing it convenient for me.
PRISTINE, PERFECT.  I think it's all cotton fabric. I am not a textile expert.
