    Description

    Are you ready to snuggle up underneath this beautiful new handmade queen size quilt? It is made with premium quilt shop quality batiks and floral fabrics in shades of rich black, brown, and cream. This quilt was handmade by me.  The finished size is 88" x 100". The photos show this quilt displayed on a queen size bed and it is intended as a comforter.
    Measuring:  Please measure your mattress before buying to ensure a good fit. Measure the length and width and also the drop on each side (the thickness of the mattress plus 1-2").

    Size:  The quilt top measures 88" x 100" including borders as shown.
    Fabric:  The squares are quilt shop quality 100% cotton batiks. Zoom in on each of the photos to see the wide variety of prints - there are at least 30-40 different fabrics used in this quilt!
    Batting:  The batting is a light to medium weight Hobbs 80/20 (80% cotton 20% polyester) for warmth and durability.
    Quilting:  This quilt was professionally machine quilted on a long-arm machine by a local quilt shop. The quilt top itself is machine stitched.
    Border:  The first border is 2" wide and a white/cream tone-on-tone batik pattern. The second border is 6" wide and a black cotton with small brown and gold speckles. Seams and corners are mitered for a professional look.
    Binding:  The binding is a brown batik print and is machine stitched in place.
    Backing:  This quilt is backed with a 100% cotton black print with printed gold circles. See additional photos.
    Shipping:  Your beautiful quilt will be shipped insured in a sturdy new box and carefully packaged along with care instructions. This quilt is machine washable.
    Made in a smoke-free home.

    RETURN POLICY:
    Please see my stated return times on my shop page. Quilt must be unused, undamaged, and returned in its' original box with all original packing materials. No refund will be given if there is any sign of wear, use, or staining. Refund will be given only after item has been returned safely and inspected by me. Quilt must be sent back using the same shipping method as I used plus insurance.
    Colors:  I have done my best to show the colors as accurately as possible, but due to different monitors the colors may appear slightly darker than they actually are. If you are in doubt, please read the written description for clarification. You can also contact me and ask a specific question.
