Handmade Queen Quilt from Edyla Sitar’s Braveheart for Andover—88 x 88 inches

Description

I machine pieced and quilted this quilt.  It measures 88 inches wide by 88 inches long.  It is made of 100% cotton fabric.  The top is made from a beautiful collection of Andover prints—Braveheart by Edyla Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts, which features florals, shirtings, and geometrics in many shades of reds and pinks and off-white solid Kona Cotton. The backing is a coordinating tan and white Benartex print.  All are 100% quilt shop cottons of excellent quality. The batting is Heirloom 80/20 (80% cotton and 20% polyester).    All work is done on the machine with the exception of the binding.  This has a double-fold binding which is machine sewn to the front and hand stitched to the back.   With proper care, this will last for many years.  I always include laundering instructions with all of the quilts I sell.    This comes from a smoke-free home with one non-shedding pet.
