Copeland & Garrett 5129 Fenced Gardens & Flowers Coffee Cup & Saucer C.1833-47 E
Nice porcelain bone china coffee cup and saucer. Decorated with fenced gardens and flowers over a cream background along the top of the cup and around the saucer. With gold gilding at the bottom and along the edge. Marked on the bottom Copeland & Garrett Late Spode's Felspar Porcelain. This mark was used between 1833 and 1847.
Has crazing typical of bone china and some wear to the gilding, has four hairlines branching off the foot rim, and some minor staining of the type that may soak out, but otherwise good condition.
The cup measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide including the handle x 3 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 7/8 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
