Boreal Flowers in Springtime Wall Hanging Quilt 20"x25"

Description

The best part of my husband Bob and my canoe camping trip through the Boreal Forest was the flowers.
The photos I brought home inspired me to create this quilt.
On the wall hanging you can see Pink Wild Rose, Yellow Clintonia, Pink Twin Flowers, Blue Flag Iris, White Wild Viburnum, Pink Lady Slipper, Pink Bog Laurel, White Star Flower, White Bunchberry Dogwood, Salmon Wild Pieris, and even Shelf Fungus growing on a Birch Tree.
There is a rod pocket on the back to hang the quilt.  I used raw edge applique and free motion quilting. I used yellow seed beads, and black embroidery floss for the stamen.
