This is a really Lovely & detailed Clay Necklace of a
Blue Whale made in the workshop of Cuarto Suspiro
from Oaxaca Mexico.
It measures 4 1/4 inches long and 1 3/4 inches tall and 1/4 of an inch deep. The leather cord measures 18 inches long and has a lobster Claw Clasp.
"The workshop was founded by Brian Corres and Natalia Bolaños, both graduates of the school of crafts. Together, they collaborate on techniques and styles to achieve unique pieces of great beauty. They have won several prizes — First Place in 2017 at the 2nd National Meeting of Young Artisans and Designers of Mexico. In 2018, they were selected by the national youth institute of Mexico City to collaborate with a special program of the Institute for Creative Exchange (ICE) in Toronto, Canada."
