    Up for auction is a very old wrought iron rotating trivet from around 1820 possibly before.   This is part of a large collection of very old wrought iron we got from the estate of a wealthy woman who loved very old Colonial Era antiques.  Everything she owned was high quality .  This trivet is made of  wrought iron and has it smear mark where the metal was poured.  It is handmade and wonderful with a  decorative handle end.   Trivet measures 3" tall, 18.25" long, and 7" wide.
