Pictures show full view of quilt on clothesline, on a queen size bed, corner of quilt, close up of block and a close up of quilt back, back on bed with red pillow shams, back on bed with the black, white, red & yellow checked backing.
This adorable, one of a kind, handmade quilt measures 78"x78" and would look great on a bed, folded at foot of bed, or draped over the banister.
Made from premium 100% cotton 1930's repro fabrics of reds and white........with floral themes.
Low loft 80% cotton & 20% poly batting was used for warmth, a soft feel and a lovely drape.
Top quality workmanship, using full 1/4" seam allowances that will not fall apart in the wash like store bought, factory quilts that use only 1/8" seams.
Professionally machine quilted, means I have paid an "award winning" gentleman to long arm quilt this, he used an all over heart motif.
Binding is also handmade and machine stitched to front of quilt then hand sewn to back.
I recommend a gentle detergent (no bleach, of course) machine wash cool water, gentle cycle.  Machine dry using low heat, gently cycle, or air dry flat.
Q
uilt has been laundered giving it a vintage crinkled quilt texture.  Also b/c of the laundering, no further shrinkage should occur.
Of course you should measure your bed to confirm proper size.
