    Description

This is a very nice Pre-Columbian Partial Figure Whistle dating from 600 A.D. to 900 A.D. from the Vera Cruz Culture of Mexico.
The figure shows two eyes with two eye brows, a mouth showing teeth, a necklace, earrings, and a partial fancy headdress.
Also evident is a cape and dress.
The whistle on the opposite side is incomplete and therefore does not work.
The piece comes with a 3 ½ inch by 2 inch identification card.
I have been buying collections of Pre-Columbian figures from Pre-Columbian dealers, auction houses and antique dealers here in the United States for over 50 years.
Everything that I know about a piece is given in my presentation.
I acquired this piece from a reputable Pre-Columbian dealer in Texas back in the early 1970s.
